Rent my sweet little house in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

San Miguel is an amazing colonial town filled with art and magic. Ten thousand americans own homes here and there is an abundance of culture, architecture, music and charm here in the heart of Mexico.  It is inland in the high desert at 6,500 feet above sea level near hot springs.

My two bedroom row house is seven doors off of Calzada de Aurora, just behind the Social Security Hospital (Seguro Social or IMSS) It is on a bus line and is a twenty minute walk to the Jardin (no hills) and a twenty five minute walk to the Warren Hardy Spanish Language School.

I completely refurbished,  decorated and furnished it in 2005.  It is on the edge of town in a sweet Mexican neighborhood that was built for workers at the Fabrica Aurora Textile Factory which now houses  chi-chi shops, art studios and restaurants. There are 5 little groceries, a tortillaria, a butcher shop, a pharmacy and an internet cafe within a one block area.

The house is available to rent from March through December for $275 a week, less by the month.
